a counting crows fan exchange

 

Welcome, Counting Crows fans! Well, this is a brand new area of MonteWeb under construction, and it's just getting off the ground. In fact, I haven't even linked it from my home page yet, so if you're here, chances are that you got this link directly from me.

I would like to start working on this page, and I'd love to see it develop into a nice little interactive area for us huge Counting Crows fans. I don't have the time (or the talent) :-) to make this into a huge production (like Lisa's shrine) or anything like that, but I'd like to make it into something a little different than what's already out there so far. Anyway, the above categories are the few that I've come up with so far. With your help, I think the areas could be both useful and fun. You can click on the menu links above to learn what I'm planning for each section.

So, that's about it for the beginning. I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions on these or any other things that you think would make this a cool site to visit and interact with. Also, please, feel free to start sending me some content to start to build the Art, Poetry, and Song section, as well as any contact information for the Counting Crows Fan Contact List area. I'll put up as much or as little as you personally want to post, but I was thinking that the following information would be the most useful for fans looking to get in touch with one another:

-"official" BBS screen name
-Alternate BBS screen names
-Real first name or nickname
-email address
-AOL Instant Messenger screen name
-ICQ number
-Geographic location (I'm thinking just state and country)
-and maybe a small thumbnailed picture if you'd like it posted

I put up an example with my info in it in the Fan Contact List area. Anyway, if any of you that think it's a good idea, send your info along. Some of it people can just get from the new BBS profiles...however...I don't know about you guys, but when I'm trying to email one of you from the board I hate having to go to the slow BBS, logging in, searching through posts, and checking out profiles hoping the person has their contact info listed.
